Donn Christensen
Donn Christensen is a seasoned trial lawyer who has represented wrongfully injured victims for his entire legal career. During that time, he has worked for pre-eminent law firms in California where he has had great success obtaining outstanding results on behalf of such clients. Indeed, in claims against pharmaceutical companies alone, Mr. Christensen has helped ensure that his clients received their share of well over a billion dollars in settlements and verdicts. Now, he is putting his extraordinary skills and experience to work for our clients here at the Heimberg Law Group.
Extensive and Broad Legal Experience
Mr. Christensen has successfully handled a broad range of accident and injury cases, including automotive products (complex design and manufacture issues from defective seat belts to improper acceleration); airplane and car crash cases; governmental misconduct (ranging from police abuse to improperly designed and dangerous roads and playgrounds); as well as, extensive fights against pharmaceutical and medical products companies, intellectual property claims (such as trademark infringement and idea theft), to medical malpractice cases. Mr. Christensen has repeatedly protected his clients’ interests at trial and in the appellate courts, including preserving a client’s right to trial in the published decision of LaPlante v. Wellcraft Marine Corp. (2001) 94 Cal.App.4th 282.
Mr. Christensen brings his legal acumen to every case, along with a strong sense of personal responsibility for the outcome of every case. Impressive Scholarship
Mr. Christensen graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Southern California. He is one of a handful of students to have been awarded USC’s highest graduating honors, not only for academics, but also for service and character, the Order of the Palm and Order of the Torch. Mr. Christensen received his law degree from the USC’s prestigious Gould School of Law, where he was a Carolyn Craig Franklin Scholar, and a member of USC’s National Trial Team.
Professional Recognition
Mr. Christensen has published numerous articles, and been asked to speak on legal issues by the top consumer attorney organizations in California. He is a past recipient of the President’s Award for Merit (2005) for “protecting consumers with incredible courage and perseverance.” Mr. Christensen has also served as a member of the Board of Governors for both the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC).
